Christmas time

We had a terrific Christmas season. Braedon and Reilly were given a ton of attention from everyone and Braedon found that opening gifts is the funnest thing he has done in a long time. I thought I'd include a few of his new spider spud friends. I had no time to do Christmas cards this year so once I start back to work I'm going to type up a nice letter and include pictures of the boys for everyone. Hopefully I'll do better next year.
Playing outside in the snow is fun for about 15 minutes each day. One thing Braedon cannot stand is having cold hands. Once they begin to get a little cold it is all over and he wants to come in. I think he also discovered the joy of snow pants and a scarf.
He tried opening his grandpa's beer to no success. Fine with mommy and daddy!
His uncle Randy and aunt Kim crossed a line and bought Braedon a music kit for Christmas. I always thought there was an unspoken rule between parents to avoid loud toys. He LOVES the drum and now we will be sending Katelyn and Sierra loud toys. Pay back can be cruel.
We can't forget about the newest little Dominguez. He had a great first Christmas and smiled whenever someone spoke to him. He is so much fun and at almost three weeks is a blast to play with.

It's the most wonderful time of the year

Braedon had so much fun with his Nanny and Papaw, especially once he discovered gloves and a scarf would help keep him warm. We had a little trouble keeping him away from the fire pit at the Gateway, but he loved being outside with his family.
He is also an EXCELLENT present unwrapper.

We had a tremendously wonderful Christmas this past weekend when my parents came down for a visit. It's actually fun to do Christmas a week early and then just enjoy that last week with very little stress. Braedon especially enjoyed his Grandparents. It was the first time they came to visit and he liked them. In the past he has showed very little emotion toward them and spent one visit humming in the corner. This weekend he loved them, showed his toys to them, smiled, kissed, and loved every second. We even went to a Tuba Christmas without any major problems. I've included a few pictures from their visit and some of just the boys. Reilly is so much fun. He smiles when he hears his mommy and daddy talk and likes to watch Braedon run around during the day.

I head back to work on the 27th and I have mixed emotions. Part of me will be glad to get back to my normal routine and the other part will greatly miss being with my boys all day long. Braedon should hopefully start his preschool in January or February and then we are looking to put both boys, together, in a daycare. As much as I love having Braedon with me, it will do him so much good to be social with children his own age.

My only other thought right now is if you have never tried a Smithfield ham, YOU MUST! I do not like ham, never have. I ordered a Smithfield ham (http://www.thepeanutshop.com/) and I am just so happy with it. It is worth every penny you pay. Enjoy the pics and have a very Merry Christmas.

Reilly sure does love his Nanny. He smiled at her when she spoke to him and really loves it when she sings to him. His new little hat was a big hit.

Fun in the snow...Getting ready for Christmas

I've included some pictures from Braedon's first big adventure into the snow. Once he figured out his snow pants would keep him warm and dry it was like a moth to a flame. He spent a bunch of time outside playing in the snow and helping his Dad shovel. I did find it amusing when he fell down. It was a scene straight from "A Christmas Story" watching him attempt to stand back up.

We took some pictures of the boys and aside from some yelling things seemed to go rather well. They are growing big and it is a bunch of fun to watch and play with both of them. Braedon seems to be accepting Reilly's being around and Reilly seems to enjoy watching Braedon run around.
