I am excited to announce that I was canned from Clarke! That's right, I'm "excited" about it. Turns out I get to stay home and be a full-time mom, which is all I wanted to do anyway. My dad says that water will always take the easiest path to its destination unless something is put in its way to reroute it. Well, we have been rerouted!
I decided that since I was jobless I might as well go on vacation. I packed up the boys and drove 12 hours to Washington to visit my parents...just me and the boys. The trip was okay until the last hour. We all just cried that last hour. We spent a great week up there and made the trek back home. Dean had a nice week of sleeping all night, playing video games, watching sci-fi movies, working late, and eating whatever he wanted. I guess it was a vacation for him too.
The boys are growing so much each day. Braedon loves his preschool and is starting to say a few words. He doesn't say the entire word, but you know what he is trying to get out. He does say"no" awfully well! Reilly is rolling over and smiling all of the time. He is the happiest baby on earth. He is learning to scoot right now and tries to make his way around the floor. I think if he could, he'd play with Braedon right now.
Anyhoo, life is great and we are enjoying it. We live by something President Hinckley said, "I am asking that we stop seeking out the storms and enjoy more fully the sunlight. I am suggesting that as we go through life, we 'accentuate the positive.' I am asking that we look a little deeper for the good...Look for the sunlight through the clouds." That's our life right now. In fact, today as I was driving to pick Braedon up from preschool I noticed I was singing and dancing to the radio and enjoying the beautiful blue sky and the mountains. Life is really great when you can take care of those you love first.
Braedon really enjoyed his visit with his Nanny and Papaw. He took time out for a quick snack. His favorite part of the trip was learning his Nanny put a TV in his bedroom.

Reilly is starting to get more hair on his little head.

Your boys are getting so big!! That is wonderful!!! I am so excited that you get to stay home and be with your kids! That is great!
Your kids are freaking cute. Can't help but say, I'm jealous you get to stay home!
I'm happy you are home with your children, I think if we are able to we should. Sometimes we just need a "little" jump start to get us going. However, you said you found your self singing and dancing...hmmmm, I can just see it now. :)
Congratulations on the "departure" from Clarke. Life after Clarke just seems to be a happier life.
Kim, I'm so happy you've finally escaped. It is so nice to be home with your little ones. I hope you are doing well.
