A boring update

This week we are up in Eastern Washington visiting my family. It's always a bit, well a lot, exhausting with our boys. Throw in another 2 year-old and a six week old and things start taking shape. Then, after a day, let's add a 7 year-old, 3 year-old, and a 1 year-old and things really get exciting.

I absolutely love my wonderful nieces and nephews, but I'm tired and I still have two more days of my "vacation". It's been a really great visit. Dean blessed the newest addition, Olivia, on Sunday. He did a really great job. He gets very nervous and takes his responsibility very seriously, which I completely admire and love.

Both of my boys get overwhelmed with all the extra people around. I'm amazed at how well they have done this trip. I think Braedon has the hardest time with learning to deal with noise and chaos. Since Reilly is generally noisy and chaotic, it doesn't seem to bother him. Braedon will spit, throw things, hit, scream, and cry when life hands him lemons. Thank goodness for Thomas the Train toys or he'd be a basket case by now. They seem to calm him down and keep things under control, a little.

I don't have any funny stories to tell. Partly because I'm so tired I can't be clever. I'm working on surviving vacation...
