What are you up to?

And now a brief update on how the boys have been doing...

Braedon continues to LOVE his school. He is working on colors, prepositions, and the function of objects. It's amazing how far he has come in just a short time. He is talking non-stop these days. He is even starting to put simple sentences together. He has another full year of the preschool and we are hoping he'll be ready for typcial kindergarten. Yeah!

Reilly is as fun as he can possibly be. He currently goes to a structured play group twice a week to learn to do certain things in a very structured environment. One of his biggest hang-ups is being touched, especially his hands. That is a big stumbling block in helping him, but with patience and persistence we should be okay. He has his speech therapist that comes to our house three times a month to help him out. Last week he learned to string beads. Hopefully he will be able to go to Braedon's school this winter when he turns 3. We haven't had a lot of Autism testing done on him yet. I'd be curious to see how it turns out. Reilly is 2 years 5 months and doesn't talk. He has started to say a few words, yeah, go, and hello. I know that it will come.

They are the best boys in the world. They make me happy, proud, exhausted, and amazed everyday.
