This week I am determined to help Reilly overcome his desire to scream and screech. He just started doing this the past few weeks. Most of it has to do with his inability to talk and communicate his wants and needs. I'm thinking some extra attention will help. At least that is what I'm hoping for. I also think Spring needs to get here so he can spend more time outside. Cabin fever is not a good fit for a 2 year-old.
This weekend I saw a really good friend of mine get married. She married a really great guy, from what I can tell. It was a lot of fun for me to brave the cold and snow to see how happy she is.
For anyone that reads this blog and has ever worked with me, you know I like odd trivia. I especially enjoy information on what happened today in history. I'm going to bore you a little with information on March 15th, cause that is what I do.
Today is the Ides of March. The term ides was used for the 15th day of the months of March, May, July, and October, and the 13th day of the other months. The Ides of March was a festive day dedicated to the god Mars and a military parade was usually held. In modern times, the term Ides of March is best known as the date that Julius Caesar was killed in 44 B.C.
