Braedon is doing amazing! I had his 6 month progress meeting yesterday to get the information on his testing, how he's been doing in class, what steps he has made, what he's working on, and what to look forward to.
To make things simple I've made two columns. The first is where is was 6 months ago. The second is present. There were some outstanding improvements made in some areas and others a little slower. The main point is there was progress in ALL categories. Braedon is 4 yrs. 9 mon.
Gross Motor: 4 yrs. 5 mon. / 5 yrs. 3 mon. Woohoo!!! He's ahead of his age.
Fine Motor: 3 yrs. / 3 yrs. 11 mon.
Pre-Writing: 2 yrs. 1 mon. / 3 yrs. 11 mon.
Cognition: 3 yrs. 1 mon. / 3 yrs. 2 mon.
Language: 3 yrs. 2 mon. / 3 yrs. 4 mon.
Self-Help: 3 yrs. 5 mon. / 4 yrs.
Personal/Social: 3 yrs. 2 mon. / 3 yrs. 3 mon.
I'm just amazed at how well he is doing. He continues to progress. Sure, I could be sad that he is still so far behind, but why?? Where does it get me? What does it profit Braedon? Instead, I'm thrilled that progress is being made, no matter how slow or how fast. I love it!
