Testing time

The boys are doing very good in school. That's the update from their six month summary meetings. It's always fun to go and talk with their teachers and hear how they are doing.

Let's get to the numbers...

Braedon was 5 years 4 months at the time of testing.

Gross Motor -- 5 years 7 months
Fine Motor -- 4 years 5 months
Pre-writing -- 4 years 9 months
Cognitive -- 3 years 5 months
Language -- 3 years 9 months
Self-help -- 4 years 3 months
Personal/Social -- 3 years 9 months

He made strides in every category. We did have to start him back on some medication to help with his ADHD/OCD that seems to really bother him this time of year. It's called Methylphenidate and it really seems to be working. He just started it a few days ago and is already making progress in school and at home.

Reilly was 3 years 3 months at the time of testing.

Gross Motor -- 2 years 10 months
Fine Motor -- 2 years
Cognitive -- 1 year 9 months
Language -- 7 months
Self-help -- 1 year 11 months
Social/Emotional -- 5 months

There are some areas that he still struggles in, but he did make improvements in all categories as well. Hooray! It doesn't matter that he is behind, it only matter that he progresses at his own pace.

I'm so proud of both my boys and the work they are doing and making.
