Braedon's teacher, Mrs. Ball, told me the best story. While at recess, Braedon walked up to Mrs. Ball and said, pointing to another child, "Play. I want play please." Mrs. Ball asked if he wanted to play with Ella. "Yes. Play with Ella." Mrs. Ball called Ella over and asked if she would like to play with Braedon. Ella agreed and the two children ran off to play. Mrs. Ball told me that Ella tried to keep up with Braedon, but didn't really know what he wanted to do.

Do you know how incredible this story is? Braedon asked to play with another child!! He has never done that. Usually he doesn't even know there are other children playing. He used all his words and phrases he knew to communicate that he wanted to play with Ella. Sure, he didn't know what to do after she said yes, but that will come later.

I am so excited to see him progress socially. He has even started to say hi to people in the morning when we get to school without me reminding him first. How awesome is that?
